The Internet is a treasure trove of information and content. Here’s a sampling of health and wellness related items that caught my eye this week. Enjoy!
We’re not robots and we’re not perfect. In fact, the occasional overindulgence might actually provide a feeling of satisfaction, while giving clarity to your health and fitness goals.
Repeatedly grinding away on the elliptical for 30 minutes is a surefire way to kill your desire to workout. Check out some ideas to spice up your cardio training.
Furniture movers have value beyond sliding heavy things across the carpet. They’re a tool I use weekly with my clients, specifically for core training. These exercises just scratch the surface.
Adults need power training too!!
As I said above, we’re not robots…

Fun with heavy things…
Carries are a weekly part of my strength program. The Trap Bar Farmer Walk is a variation I really love because the higher load capacity provides a serious challenge your core strength and stability. Try starting with a weight equivalent to your body weight and walk for 20 yards, repeat 3x total. Increase the weight as your ability allows - if you can eventually get to 2x your body weight, you've got a very strong core!! #trapbar #vitalifit #educate #empower #bodyweight #strenghtconditioning
