As we age, life begins to take hold. We become more sedentary, our diet includes more processed foods and our testosterone levels drop. These realities lead to negative changes in energy levels, muscle mass and body composition. While you can’t stop father time from knocking at your door, a sound exercise program that incorporates strength training and high intensity cardiovascular work will help to delay its effects.
Over 12 weeks, ReBUILD challenges you with daily workouts (45 minutes, tops!) that include compound strength training movements (think deadlifts and squats) and high heart rate interval work. You’re going to lift heavy things, you’re going to sweat and you’re going to get after it. By the end of the program you’ll be stronger, leaner and more energetic. We’re limiting this program to 40 people, between the ages of 35 and 50. Qualified participants should meet the following requirements:
You should be (relatively) injury free, aside from some minor aches and pains. If your arm is hanging off the side of your body please have that looked at. Seriously.
You should have some experience with strength training, especially with compound movements.
You should have access to a facility with barbells and enough free weights to sink the Titanic.
The program runs for 12 weeks. You will receive your programming in 4 week phases.
